6 Amazing Beauty Brands Moroccan Shoppers Love

No matter your age or budget, let’s face it, we all want to look good. Here are 6 amazing brands- some ultra-famous, others less well known- that will have you glowing in no time. Best part, you can get all of them in Morocco.

Fenty Beauty

This is the makeup line from mega-star Rhinanna, and it does not disappoint. After launching in September 2017, not only did most of the products in her line almost immediately sell out, the brand also inspired a number of other brands to diversify their pigment offerings. And that’s no small task, as Rhianna- who’s from Barbados- offers 50 shades in her Pro Filt’r Foundation and Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Collections. By offering more colors and shades, women of color and those with deeper skin tones are able to find makeup meant for them. Hooray!

Shoppers also love the Fenty’s Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, the Body Lava Body Luminizer, the Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner, the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush, and the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter. All of these products are 100% cruelty free, and are very reasonably priced at $14-40 USD ($126 – $326 Moroccan Dirham)

Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner is one of the hottest celebrities in the world, and her eponymous Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin, and Kylie Baby helped make her the youngest self-made billionaire.

And while you may not be a billionaire, you can get a billion-dollar glow with Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin in Morocco. One of her most popular products is the Kylie Lip Kits, which provide 8 hour matte lips. Shoppers also love her new 24k Birthday Collection including the Pressed Powder Palette, the Lip Serum, and the Body Glow. The Kylie Cosmetics collection includes creamy, vibrant eyeliners, pressed blush and illuminating powders, ultra-creamy long-wearing lip liners in fun names like “Salted Caramel Kylighter Illuminating Powder,” “Oh You Fancy High Gloss lipgloss,” and the “Candy K Matte Lip Kit.”

While Kylie Cosmetics definitely has a younger following, women of all ages love her color choices, as they are tailored to darker skin tones, too.

Clinique

While clean beauty is not only commonplace, but also expected by consumers today, this wasn’t the case when Clinique launched back in April 1968. At that point, Clinique as a brand was pioneering a space that (up to that point) had few restrictions and little testing by serving as the world’s first allergy tested, dermatologist-backed skincare brand.

When Clinique launched over 50 years ago, they had just 117 items in their line (which, at the time, was still considered to be robust). Today the line has expanded to include moisturizers, cleansers, exfoliators, makeup removers, masks, serums, and eye and lip care, addressing issues such as dryness and dehydration, blackheads, lines and wrinkles, pores, excess oil and shine, blackheads, acne, irritation and redness, and fatigue and loss of radiance. Clinique also offers products that are oil-free, offer sun protection, or self tanning.

But perhaps one of Clinique’s most popular product lines are their creams targeting uneven skin tone and dark spots (because, hello, who DOESN’T have these)?! Marketed under the “Even Better” line, these skincare and cosmetic products (primarily foundation and concealers) help even skin tone, brighten and refresh it, as well as depuff and perfect it. The Even Better Broad Spectrum Makeup (foundation) comes with and SPF of 15, and in a whopping 56 shades, while the Even Better All-Over Concealer and Eraser comes in 42 shades.

Although Clinique’s ecommerce site doesn’t ship to Morocco directly, shoppers in Morocco can still get Clinique through a premium department store. Macy’s, Harvey Nichols, and Bloomingdale’s all offer shipping of Clinique products to Morocco.

Tom Ford

Tom Ford Beauty- the cosmetics arm of the designer fashion brand (eponymously named by designer/founder Tom Ford) is the ultimate in luxurious fragrance and beauty products. Whether it’s his Signature or Private Blend fragrances, lip collection, opulent men’s grooming items, or the extensive Face collection, Tom Ford IS luxury when it comes to skincare and cosmetics.

Some of the most popular items in the skincare line by Tom Ford include the Tom Ford Research Eye Repair Concentrate, the Tom Ford Research Serum Concentrate, the Tom Ford Research Creme Concentrate, the Research Intensive Treatment Lotion, and the Research Intensive Treatment Emulsion. On the cosmetics side, some of the most popular items include the 40 shade strong Shade and Illuminate Soft Radiance Foundation SPF 50, the Traceless Foundation Stick (in 38 shades), and the sheer highlighting duo. Also available are the Cheek Color (available in 7 shades), the Shade & Illuminate Concealer (offered in 20 shades), and the Glow Tinted Moisturizer.

Sine Tom Ford’s days at Gucci (the fashion house he let in 2004 to launch his own line), he’s been the darling of the fashion world. And nothing is different now, as critics and shoppers alike adore his premium cosmetics and skincare lines.

And although the Tom Ford site doesn’t ship directly to Morocco, Moroccan shoppers can get the Tom Ford Beauty collection at Macy’s.

Narciso Rodriguez

This list has plenty of cosmetics, but what about fragrances? For almost 20 years, celebrities and “regular” people alike have been ardent followers of Narcisco Rodriguez’s elegant fashion- and fragrance- collection.

The signature, eponymous Narciso Rodriguez fragrance comes in an eau de parfum for her, and a cologne for him, and are uniquely sexy and are among the brand’s best sellers. Shoppers also love the men’s Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir.

The vibrant radiance of the women’s Narciso Rodriguez Ambree attracts repeat buyers, as does the floral bouquet of Pure Music, Fleur Music, and Music Noir. Finally, the white jasmine and Bulgarian rose of the Narciso Poudree, and the fiery sensuality of Narciso Rouge, have made these fragrances favorites, as well.

Shoppers in Morocco can get Narciso Rodriguez fragrances at FragranceX, Perfume.com, and at premium department stores.

Klorane

Women today are often too busy to wash their hair everyday, but who wants to walk around with greasy locks?! Savvy ladies instead turn to the modern equivalent of baby powder in the hair and spritz dry shampoo on their roots to soak up sweat and grease to keep hair looking fresh for an extra day.

Klorane’s become a cult-favorite dry shampoo brand for good reason- it’s natural, and it WORKS. For 50 years, French-based Klorane’s been working with plant-based ingredients to bring natural hair care to the mainstream. And today, Klorane’s the #1 hair care brand in European pharmacies.

But Moroccan shoppers need not fear, as they’re still able to get Klorane in Morocco through Macy’s.
